Prior to founding Valient in 2007, Upham was Senior Vice President at Harris Interactive (now Nielsen), Senior Director at J.D. Power and Associates and founder and CEO of Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Providata Inc. Upham began his twenty-sevenx year career at Ford Motor Company and subsequently held senior corporate marketing and communications posts at TRW Automotive, Kelsey-Hayes and Takata Corporation.
Upham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Eastern Michigan University and completed graduate studies from Pennsylvania State University and the Foundations of Corporate Communications Executive Education program at Erasmus University – Rotterdam (Netherlands).

Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, Olliff is the Chief Operating Officer of Valient Market Research and leads the Company’s sales & marketing and business operations teams.
Prior to joining Valient in 2016, Olliff was Senior Account Manager at The Futures Company (formerly Yankelovich), Director of Business Development at FGI Research, Director of Client Services at Harris Interactive (now Nielsen) and held several engineering roles at Lear Corporation.
Olliff earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Florida State University and a Master’s of Business Administration & Management degree from North Carolina State University.
